A ROMANTIC, INTIMATE DESTINATION WEDDING AT CHATEAU DE L'ENCASTRE
There’s something undeniably magical about weddings in historic French châteaux, but Anton and Daria’s celebration at Château de L’Encastre in Revel was beyond anything I could’ve imagined. As a destination wedding photographer based in Mallorca, it was such a joy to travel to southern France to capture this elegant, nostalgic, and deeply intimate day.
With just 20 of their closest loved ones, Anton and Daria created a romantic atmosphere that perfectly mirrored the soul of this incredible location. The ceremony took place outdoors, overlooking Lac de Saint-Ferréol, with warm October light casting golden hues over the trees and the couple. Floral arrangements framed the ceremony space, soft and elegant – a perfect match for the château’s historic charm.

One of the reasons I loved photographing this wedding so much was the character of Château de L’Encastre itself. Built in 1902, the property feels like stepping back in time — with its original Art Nouveau features, antique furnishings, and sunlit rooms full of soul. It offered countless beautiful corners and textures to explore, giving the day a very editorial, fine art feel that I always look for in my work. From the quiet, reflective moments during getting ready, to the golden hour portraits on the lawn with the lake in the background, this day felt full of lightness and joy. Daria and Anton were calm, warm, and so connected – and that made everything flow so naturally.
Their vision was clear: they wanted something elegant and real, intimate but full of depth. No fuss, no pressure – just beauty, connection, and atmosphere. As a wedding photographer who loves editorial storytelling and intentional celebrations, this kind of day is what I live for.

,,We are infinitely grateful to have had you as our wedding photographer on our special day. Your work exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the photos, we will never forget our wedding day with all its moments! ''
