WHO AM I?
Hi, I’m Lena, a 30-year-old German girl.
Since 2018 I’ve been photographing weddings part-time, while still working in a big corporation – successful on paper, but empty inside. In 2023 I quit my job, spent half a year traveling alone, and came back with one clear decision: to follow my heart and make photography my full-time profession. Because it gives me what I was missing all along:
real people, real emotions, real connection.
MY WHY.
In a world that moves so fast, we rarely stay. We live in memories or somewhere in the “what ifs” of tomorrow — always rushing, always thinking ahead. But life happens here. In the quiet, in-between moments. In the trembling hands, the soft smiles, the tear that falls without warning. Photography has taught me to slow down. To truly see. To be present. It’s not just about capturing something for you — it’s a gift I give myself, too.
A way to stay grounded in the now, to notice the small, beautiful things that so often pass us by. And somewhere along the way, my perspective has changed. My senses feel sharper, my awareness deeper. I see moments others might miss — and there is something incredibly meaningful in that. What makes it even more special is sharing this with you.
